Lego Land Aquarium & Water Park

For our second day of the trip we went to the aquarium and water park. These do not come with the daily pass to Legoland, but we felt like it was worth it.

The aquarium is located at the front of the park. When you first walk in they give you a map for the kids to collect stamps though out the aquarium. (Another free interactive thing we loved!) As you walk through you will see little stamp stations that the kids can stamp their maps with and at the end they get a prize!

The aquarium took us about an hour to go through the whole thing. There were touch ponds, a small play area and even a little show. The kids loved seeing the sharks, sting rays and jelly fish. You can spot lego builds through out the waters.

The water park is at the back of the park. I saw several families with wagons and coolers which was a smart idea. And don’t forget towels! We did! (They do have stores with towels, bathing suits and even kids underwear)

They had big changing rooms, lockers that you can open with a bracelet and even drying stations! (You stand in front of a big blow dryer)

The water park was pretty big! It was sectioned in areas (toddler, big kid area, slides and wave pool) There was a big boat ride that the whole family loved but you got soaked! Others can stand on the bridge above the ride to get splashed on.

The kids loved the area where you build a boat out of legos and then race them down a water fall. I felt like the whole park was well planned out with the amount of shade and chairs. We never felt like we were fighting over shade. They had several food options so we didn’t even need to leave the water park until we were ready. Don’t forget to ask about the pop badges because the aquarium and water park have their own to give out. (Can you tell I was a little obsessed about the pop badges and mini fig trading?)
