We were on the struggle bus throughout the month of February. I guess everyone always struggles the month after your New Year’s Resolution. But the true test is to see what you do after the failure.

Laguna- Elk Grove Kiwanis
Laguna- Elk Grove Kiwanis is an amazing organization that serves our community in so many ways. I am sure you have seen the name around town but never really knew what they did or what they are about. This great group runs fundraisers and uses that money for community events.

District 56 Workout
District 56 is located off of Elk Grove Blvd and Big Horn Blvd. This community center has it all! An aquatic center, big playground and a great place to workout!!

Case Park
Case Park is located off of Laguna Blvd and Laguna Park Drive. It’s a tiny little neighborhood park but has some pros that we found.

Jordan Family Park
We really enjoyed this hidden gem of a park!! Jordan Family Park off of Calvine Rd and Elk Grove Florin

Batey Park
Batey Park is located off of Seasons Dr and Bruceville Blvd. It’s very close to Lichtenbeger trail.

Jennie McConnell Park
McConnell Park is located off of Hampton Oak Dr and E. Stockton Blvd. It’s tucked away in a cute and quiet neighborhood. There are so many positives to this park that it’s on a regular rotation for our family.

January Savings Recap
This year we have a big savings goal and we were very successful in January! Which gives our family hope and fire for the year to come.

Winter Books We Love
Every year I wrap 24 books to counted down the days until Christmas. Each night the kids open one and we read it. For older kids you can purchase a chapter book and read a chapter a night. Here are some books that we love!
