Living in Elk Grove is amazing, but a lot of the times there really isn’t much to do for teens. I truly believe if teens don’t have something to do or a safe place to go that’s when trouble happens. Elk Grove is growing but we do need more safe places for our kids to make new friends and to hang out.
Elk Grove Teen Center on Elk Grove Blvd brings that to our community! It is a safe place where teens can make new friends, hang out and even get help with homework. Our community is extremely lucky to have this program.
The center is open Monday- Friday 3pm- 6pm. Students can come play board games, sports, do homework, play video games and much more! Friday nights from 7pm-9pm are movie nights, game nights, video game tournaments, and even karaoke. Food and drinks are available.
On Wednesdays breakfast is served from 7am-9am. It is open for students 7th- 12th grade. Donuts, pancakes, oatmeal are some of the options that are served.
Tutoring is available in advance during the week in Spanish, Biology, English, Chemistry, Psychology, Astronomy, and History.
