Elk Grove Regional Park is off of Elk Grove Florin Rd near Highway 99. It is the heart of Elk Grove and is one of my favorite parks.
The park is used for so many events like the CSD Pumpkin Festival, Strauss Festival, Elk Grove Soccer Jamboree and many more! There are picnic benches through out and a ton of shade.
In the center of the park is a beautiful pond where you can fish, check out the ducks and have a picnic. It has a great dog park, dirt bike park, sand volleyball courts, frisbee golf course and community pool.

This park is a great spot for throwing birthday parties! It is full of rentable or non-rentable picnic tables. If you would like more information on how to rent a spot you can find it HERE

I love to run the trail because there is so many beautiful trees and the path is long. The only thing I wish the city would do is pave the trail. There is always puddles and holes which makes my run a little trickier.

The Elk Grove Historical Museum is in the park. Every first Saturday of the month (From February through October) they give free tours from Noon to 4:00pm. You can take a quick tour around and learn the history of Elk Grove.
During the month of December they host an Old Fashion Christmas with cookie decorating, lights and Santa.

I am so happy to have this park here in Elk Grove!!
