We had so much fun at the Sacramento Airshow “Positive Altitude” Event at Mathers. Since we went to the Airshow a few years ago I am on the mailing list which sends me a ton of updates of upcoming events and shows. This event was sent to me and you had to RSVP for it.
The weather was perfect and the crowds were small. We all got to go into small airplanes, helicopters, fire trucks and even the mega big UPS plane.

Mama got star struck when I saw a T38 Talon! It gave me all the Top Gun vibes.

There was a K9 dog demonstrations, bomb robots and even fire suits to try on.

Inside the hanger there was STEM booths and free food.

The Sacramento Air Show will be September 23rd and 24th. You can purchase tickets HERE. We are so excited to go this year! Unfortunately they will not have a Friday show so you will need to map out the shows you want to see ahead of time. We plan on for sure going for the Thunderbirds!! I also suggest purchasing ear protection for all ages. My 7 year old and 12 year old were both bothered by how loud the planes were.
The Aerospace Museum is also a great place to take your airplane and space loving kid! There is over 35 airplanes to check out, space rockets and even a flight simulator. The museum hosts many events like Star Wars Day, Women in STEAM, and Wheels & Wings. Kids are $12 and adults $15.More information HERE
