Who would have thought a magnet and a rope would bring so much fun!! This morning we joined CSD and the Kiwani club to do magnet fishing. They do this every year so keep an eye out for the next event!
Magnet fishing is a magnet on the end of a rope and you just throw it into the water. As you pull it in the magnet grabs whatever is in it’s path. We collected fishing hooks, coins, and jewelry. This activity is great for helping clean out the pond but also brings entertainment to the kids!
You can purchase a magnet fishing kit on Amazon. It includes the magnet, rope and gloves. Then take it over to the Elk Grove Park Pond or any body of water. It will keep your kids entertained for hours!!
