Island Park off of Whitelock and Big Horn and was one of the first parks we went to when moving to Elk Grove. Coming from the Bay Area this park was beautiful compared to ones near our old house. It was spacious, fun and clean!!
There are several fun slides and sand to play in. The only downfall to this park is no bathrooms and not much shade. It is still one of our favorites.
Picnic tables are under a shade structure and placed between both giving you good visual of both park structures. My kids love the cool pirate ship and large slides. I love the trail around it with exercise spots!
