Oh man have you guys gone to Handel’s yet??
We have been Leatherby’s fans for a long time, so when Handel’s came I thought there is no way they can be better. But we have realized there is plenty of room in Elk Grove to have both! They are different and both delicious!
Handel’s has way more flavors and a walk up and order window. They have 50 flavors to choose from including Oree- Dough, Blueberry Cheesecake and Cotton Candy! Since I am indecissive of what flavor I want I get the 4 scoop sampler for $6. This lasts me a couple days and I get a little bit of everything. The single scoops are $4.75 and huge so my kids share.
Leatherby’s is great for big sundaes and food. We go there for celebratory events, but Handel’s is great for a quick ice cream to go. If you have not gone yet we highly recommend it!
