Elk Grove Giant Pumpkin Festival is one of Elk Grove’s biggest community events. We have been in Elk Grove for 6 years and every year we missed it. But this year we actually made it!!
The key is to get there early!! We parked on the street and walked in. As you walk in there are vendors all around Elk Grove pond. Each booth seemed to have something for the kids whether it was candy or a little goodie. So remember to bring a bag for the kids to collect their items. There was a scarecrow contest and tons of art to look at.
There are food trucks with desert and lunch options. Our favorite was the small hot donuts. It was hard to decide with so many fall flavors!
On the other side of the park is a kid play area, pumpkin patch and rides. All these cost tickets. There are 3 stages with entertainers and musical acts. We brought food and lawn chairs to sit and enjoy the music.
Depending on the day you go you will be able to see the pumpkin weigh off, pumpkin boat races, and pie eating contests. This event is well known in Elk Grove and you won’t regret going! Find more information HERE
