Derr Okamoto Park is located off of Grant line and Waterman. My kids refer this park as the giraffe park.
It has a great toddler playground under shade!! There are swings, a tiny slide and a large spinning contraption. The large play structure has slides, a fort to climb up into, and big disc swings. The park is surrounded by great trees for parents to sit under.
There are clean bathrooms, a large soccer field, skatepark and a running trail.
Derr Okamoto has one of the bigger water play structures in Elk Grove that runs between May and September. You can reserve picnic spaces through CSD to have birthday parties.
